Wendy holds the degrees Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (2003) and PhD in Herd and Population oriented Research (veterinary medicine; 2014) from the University of Copenhagen (Denmark).

Wendy started her career as a practicing veterinarian in mixed and small animal practices in Sweden and then worked as a clinician at the Large Animal Hospital of the University of Copenhagen before she embarked on her PhD project. During the project, she examined the scientific background for the establishment of a national health database for the Danish horse population. After her PhD, she worked within research and development, regulatory affairs, and pharmacovigilance at a German company producing veterinary nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals.

Wendy joined P95 as a medical writer in May 2020.
