Tom Cattaert graduated as physicist from the University of Antwerp in 2002, and obtained a PhD in plasma physics from Ghent University in 2006. In 2008, he graduated as statistician from Hasselt University. From 2009 until 2012, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in statistical genetics / genetic epidemiology at University of Liege. From 2012 until 2015, he worked at CropDesign as statistician in the field of plant biotechnology. From 2015 until 2017 he worked at P95 as Data Scientist & Analyst for the Real-World Data Analytical Centre. From 2017 to 2020 he worked at DICE as statistician in clinical trials.

Tom re-joined P95 as statistician in June 2020.
