Thao had a bachelor in Pharmacy in Vietnam (2011). She worked in the pharmaceutical industry for two years, mainly in clinical researches as a clinical research associate. In 2015, Thao obtained her Master’s degree in Statistics (specialization in Epidemiology and public health methodology). She continued her academic study and research by doing her Ph.D. in modeling infectious disease at Hasselt University.

While doing her research at UHasselt, she was involved in consultancy projects and worked with colleagues from different backgrounds. She has a keen interest in infectious disease modeling, vaccine trials, and pharmacovigilance. Thao Tran joints P95 in May 2020 as Data Analyst.
