Jorne obtained a BSc in mathematics from Ghent University and a MSc in statistics from KU Leuven.

The focus of his PhD dissertation was the use of statistical and machine learning methods to describe the prognosis for patients with haematological malignancies. He has completed multiple real world data analyses and has an interest in predictive modelling/machine learning, infectious disease modelling, and causal inference.

Jorne joined P95 in December 2018.
