Archana pursued B.Sc in Zoology and M.Sc in Environmental Biology from the University of Delhi. She completed her Ph.D. in Drosophila genetics and development from Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (Bengaluru, India). She moved to Nice, France to pursue post-doctoral research in gene-environment interactions, followed by two more post-doctoral stints at the University of Nottingham, UK and University of Stavanger, Norway, in the genetics of neuro-degenerative diseases.

Finally, she has made Hamburg, Germany her home with her family. She was a freelance medical writer and consultant since April 2019. She wrote articles for online magazines on various scientific topics, articles for publishing, and also, regulatory documents for medical devices and combination products.

Archana joined P95 team as a medical writer in November 2020.
