Data Analyst


Tom De Smedt graduated as a biomedical engineer from the University of Ghent in 2012 and worked till 2016 at the Scientific Institute of Public Health and KULeuven on a research project titled "Small-area health statistics in Belgium. 

A main focus in his work has been advanced and interactive data visualisation. Furthermore, he assisted in several epidemiological studies as a biostatistician, for example the human biomonitoring study following the chemical train disaster in Wetteren.

Tom joined P95 in July 2016 as an Analyst for the ADVANCE and Real Data Analytics Centre projects.
