We have a new colleague!

Hans Scheers graduated as Biologist and certificated teacher from the University of Antwerp (UA) in 2001. He worked for 4 years at the UA’s lab of Functional Morphology, investigating sexual dimorphism in lizards. 

In 2007, he obetained a Master's degree in Applied Statistics at the University of Hasselt. Hans continued his tour around the Flemish universities and started working in the laboratory of Pneumology at the KU Leuven in 2008, where he obtained a PhD in 2016 with a thesis entitled “Epidemiological research towards a better understanding of the relationship between air pollution and human health”.

In between episodes of working and studying at universities, Hans has also worked as biology and chemistry teacher in secondaryschools. He joined P95 in August 2017 as epidemiologist.
